What do I do about stripped bolt on MT

The right (-) terminal bolt is stripped on my mt, Its tightined all the way

What should I do? Is there anything I can do?

if the hole is rounded out.... just drive a very small flat head into it and back it out. Once it's out... head to the hardware store to grab a new set screw.

i would have to agree you need to know witch part is stripped.... tipically it wont be both... use a flat head like said before or if need be an easy out...or something of the sort... it shouldnt be a hard job...

well i just went and looked at it again and its deffently the inset for the hex wrench that is stripped the threads are alright.... i just cant get it out

Get a torx bit that's just a hair too big. Hammer it into the terminal. Remove.

If the threads are jacked-up, you may have to drill out the hole and tap it to a large size.

dont drill out the hole.. very carefully use a moderatly small drill bit and drill clockwise intell it locks down(go very slow burst). then change the drill rotation and the screw should come out. then order a new 1. hope this helps

dude i had the same thing happen to me on my SX sub all i did was just order a speaker terminal from RE they sent me 2 of them plus shipping for $15, quick fix
