Alright guys i got a problem. Recently my car has been dieing on me. I try to crank it and kaput she goes. She wont even crank... it just sounds like the battery is sucked right outta her... i just got a new battery maybe 2 months ago. I have no wires hooked up to the terminal besides my 4 channel amp running my front comps and 6x9s. Once i put cables on her and try to jump it she purrs like a kitten. I took her to the honda dealership and they said nothing was wrong? But tonight again my car didnt start again? Whatcha think?

Do you have the remote lead wired to the head unit, instead of a constant 12V source?

Uhh? i didnt do the install on my headunit... I'm about to buy a new battary... red top... and trouble shoot from there

go to autozone.

have them test your alternator.

and load test your battery.

then go from there. also - having CLEAN properly torqued, contacts on the battery hook ups is 1000% important

I think the contacts are a problem... but like i said i took it ot the dealership like a week ago and they said my alternater was charging (second opinion, another shop said it was charging as well). And that my battery seemed good, but i will take it in to make sure... Its just embarassing becoming stranded and not know wtf is the problem

Worst comes to worse, I'll meet up with you and trouble shoot it for you.

Your amp isn't staying on when you turn the key off is it?

How long have you had the amp in there? Headunit?

Also, when you get the red top, make sure you buy NEW battery terminals also! Like said above, they are SUPER important for a good clean, strong connection!

Thanks V. I've had the Head unit and Amp in there for a while... But only recently did it just start the dieing thing... I'ma try and trouble shoot it myself, but if i come up emtpy i'll hit you up. Thanks man.

I had a battery fail on me once. it was less than a year old.

one of the plates fell over inside the battery, and at that instant,

it completely neutralized the battery to zero volts.

waranty covered it. thanks bmw mini cooper for being crappy !

just cause teh battery aint old - wont mean its good.

make shure they "load test it"
