What cuts a circle with precision?

I just tried the rotozip with the circle cutter attachment and let's just say i can cut a better circle with my teeth.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif So i need a tool that can make a PERFECT circle. What should i use? I need to make the hole for my rl-i8 sub to drop in.

Just use a jig.......it's not that hard.

if you are on a budget, a jigsaw and a compass, and they dont have to be perfect, as long as they are covered

i've used everything from the Jigsaw|Compass to JasperJig|Router including the RotoZip with it's circle jig.

All will work with patience and practice. The results are the same, the level of effort is different though.

Jigsaw is more fun because it takes more skill.

I can cut circles fine with a jigsaw, but I got a router and jig because it takes less time to cut and lay out.

I left a piece outside. The thing ended up being 1.5" thick with all the water it absorbed.

My hand isn't steady enough to use a jigsaw. I use the router & jig because it's easier, faster, and the results are consistent (just as long as I do it right the first time).
