right now i have a 15" type R in a ported box..dimensions are 24x16x18 (whats that in cu ft?)

its powered by a Lanzar Opti 1400D

Settings are as follows

Gain (1.5/11)

LPF (80)

Subsonic filter (off) goes from 15-40 htz

and bass boost is off

where would this amp sound the best and what could the sub really handle?

people have thrown a 2500d on the typeR daily. Another person ran a XX-Zues (1600rms) to his 15'' R. Are you talking about burp? or daily driving?

i wouldnt worry about putting 1300 watts into it...i think my amp is rated at 1300 @ 1 ohm and i have it turned up to 1/11 on the gain and its plenty loud

prolly 1k-1.5k watts

Build a new box first, or stick a 12 in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Whats it tuned to? Port area?

sad part is...no idea what its tuned to...and i think that its two, 4 inch ports no idea what the acutal port area is...

whats the easiest way to get a picture on here...i could show you

yeah i have the box sittin right next to my computer....it reads:

1x500 RMS @ 4 ohm

1x800 RMS @ 2 ohm

1x1300 RMS @ 1.3 ohm

i have the type R wired to 1

really stupid question coming...im putting my flame suit on....can you tune a box after its been made? if so ...link to tutorial ...or is anyone willing to talk to me on AIM on how to set my amp the best as for my own setup????
