Just get the Audison. It seems to be what you really want anyway, so just get it. Once you do though, do us a favor and switch the Crystals out for the Germs and tell us which switch made a bigger difference. I honestly don't think there will be ay audible difference between the Diamond and the Audison, unless there is a significant power difference. Just make sure you get a 4-channel, so you can bi-amp the Germs when you decide to put them in (and I'd be surprised if you didn't). There really is no point in not switching out the Crystals for a better set if you already have one laying around.

Also, the Alpine PDX 4.150 that DejaWiz was talking about is a 4-channel amp. Very nice, small-footprint amps.

well i just got sent an e-mail from a member on here. he has a lrx 2 channel and a srx 4 channel. the srx is 100 dollars cheaper than the lrx. whats the difference?

And typically underrated... it's not uncommon for one to be birthed at 4x165+ RMS.

I want to say the Srx is an older design, but IDK. Can't go wrong with audison though. Just get the 4-channel for the flexibility.

SRx is the lowest line Audison offers, LRx is middle and VRx is the top.

Srx isn't quite the quality of components inside. Power is less. The case and heat sink aren't as nice looking. Lrx is a better amp all around generally. If you don't need the power of the Lrx or need a smaller footprint, the srx is the better amp. If you want Audison, get it. I have one is my wife's car SRX2 2 channel 2x 65 watts and we love it. I am buying a Lrx in a week or so though and am selling the Srx. As far as similar amps, they have pretty much been listed. If you are looking at this quality of amps, why are you trying to go cheaper? If you are looking for a good sq amp you will be paying for it. Quality isn't cheap.

ok kool, thx for the help guys. i am looking for quality amps. i just wanted to know if there was any other amps that are better, or can compete with audison and be cheaper if possible. i have the money to buy a new one if i wanted to, but i'd rather get it cheaper by buying a used one. as for the ones that were listed, i think ill just stick with the audison. i like that its high end and that it doesnt look like crap either.

I kinda figured. Thought it was worth mentioning since we were talking about Audison. Crazy amp, so sexy. Hoping someday we will get to install one. Until then it's more Focal Dual Monitors.

How are the Focal amps? They look **** sexy. Nice and simple design.

I would almost say the Dual Monitors are just as good as the Thesis. I know a guy who is sponsored and almost went with the Thesis, but ended up going for 4 Dual Monitors in his car. It's the guy on the cover of Car Audio and Electronics for July.
