what color?

alright.. here is the deal.. i do recones for local people (5-10 a month). now, i had a kid come in today saying that "this sub he bought from his buddy.. i reconed it, and the coil was misaligned.. alright.. so, i look at it.. and i have never seen the **** thing! i show him the differences from this recone and my work (i use black glue, this was clear glue, stiff like that) i also sign/date the coil when i do recones (i warranty my work for 1 yr, so this helps determine that i did it, and when) anyhow, i decided that i needed a way to LOOK at teh woofer right off the bat, and tell (as the glue clued me in this time, but.. sometimes others use black glue as well:laugh: so.. i came up with the idea of painting the baskets. i played around with colors, from blue, to green to black, to silver, etc. and SO FAR the colors here have been my favorite.. which of the 2 do you like better? also.. if you don't like either, give me some suggestions! (no candies, etc.. too much work) i will do pearl, metallic, and normal.. i have messed with powder coat as well, and it is much more durable.. but i couldn't get the array of colors i can with paint.. on with the pics-

pearl white (diamond white)

i love this color, but i don't know how others will feel. the major downfall is that the pearl does not show through unless you REALLY look (it is noticeable though, don't get me wrong) very high end look, imo

orange metallic

this is, hands down, my favorite.. however, i fear it looks much like memphis.. (although, memphis seems to use a flat orange. this is why i stayed away from red, black, blue, etc (tc uses all those, and black is WAYYY to common.

i agree the orange looks badass and na i didn't think memphis at all your right their paint is flat orange the metallic makes it really pop

I like the pearl white as well. Not common and not cheesy like the orange, imo.

The diamond white is pretty sweet. I think hunter green/metallic green would be pretty sick also.
