What causes engine noise thru subs??

And constant sub rumbling, even when the engine is off??? I cannot figure this one out and its driving me crazy as well as annoying as heck.

most likely your ground. could also be your rca cables.

As said earlier, most likely a bad ground, but also could be RCA's, a cheap pair, or rubbing off the rubber coatings to induce noise.

I am thinking your RCA,s, I have had that problem before using MTX amps...

In the same model vehicle also...

are you using any rca y splitters? if so, they could be touching the frame, as mine did. i just use the wire loom for it and its gone.

Nope, my 81000D. And thanks all for the replies....I will search for a better ground. dleccord, the answer is no. Just the amp, linedriver, and HU....nothin else.

Try grounding the RCA's

I would check the ground and the rcas. You will most likely find the problem in one or the other.

My MTX amps had that problem and I solved it by grounding the RCA's

Ok I've heard of grounding RCA's before....how is this done????

Get a little piece of wire, strip both ends shove one in with the RCA's and the other on a ground screw, there should be one on the rear of the deck.

check the RCA inputs they might be coming out....happened to me when i put my system in....the wires pulled them partly out so it caused feedback when you switched songs and such
