Skylines, Supras, and rx7s are the only cars from Japan that I wouldnt consider rice

the 1 skyline i knew of in Tx guy paid 55grand us in japan for it, then 25k to get it here. you don't buy a skyline as a daily driver as it's right hand drive and no matter the emissions it'll never pass b/c of it's right hand drive.

It IS legal. Different states have different rules and regulations. Ga is pretty slack, and therefore, does not have emisions laws. Meaning the car does not have to be inspected, nor pass any type of testing.

Just do a rhd swap. I have seen plenty at shows in ATL... lots of rhd 92-95 civic hatches.

Personally, I'd take a mitsubishi FTO before a skyline.

Also a big fan of s13 silvias.

Wouldn't own one, and drive it daily, but it would be fun to play around with on a curvy wide mildly wet road with bald rear tires...

that's an old R34 skyline. The g35 is a 350z with an altima chasis instead of the race geared suspension/chasis that the 350z has. There is no skyline other than the skyline simple as that. They are making them legal in the states on a semi basis as of now, meaning if you have the $ call up Nissan they'll build you a left hand drive one.
edit: if that link is correct that's the 1st i've heard of the 07' g35 being a R35 skyline. That's 100% different than what Nissan has said for the past 6 years ever since Fast and Furious came out and the first real screen time for a skyline appeared.

no there is only 1 place in the US from last time i herd that can u get one... and that is located in San Fransico. they cost around 20-30Grand to ship over and legalize them... and then on top of that a 20K car in japan u get it for 30-50K + the 20-30K to get it shipped over.... this stuff i herd awhile back not sure if there are others.

and people those cars cant pass Emissions for hell. like someone else said u dont buy it for daily driver, you buy it cause ur rich *****.... i have been looking around for a import for a nice fixer and one sexy *** car is the 240sx... that thing is HAWT and not expensive.

i said right hand drive's are illegal last i checked. just b/c you see one doesn't make it street legal i mean you and i know that we both probably see trucks/suv's with an illegally high suspension mod monthly lol.

The G35 doesnt share commonalities with the Altima or Maxima in any way. Its on its own platform/chassis.

As posted above the G35 IS the US version of the Skyline. Hence all my parts coming from Japan made by Nissan and fully interact with my car.

The Skyline GTR is a hell of a car, not sure how u can confuse one with a prelude. NO they r not illegal just because they're right hand drive and if u want one u need to go through MOTOREX based out in California. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=105699
