What can you really expect out of a trunk...

On one 10???

To be honest this enclosure i'm testing is tiny-- maybe 1-1.25 cubes. Not sure of tuning.

Sub is almost bigger than the box. Certainly heavier.

Plays flat from below 20- 50 or so.

I've tested 3 10 inch subs in it.

I'm running an Eclipse SW 8010 single 4 in it past month. Mounted inverted.

It is straight BEASTING for what it is. Especially in a trunk.

It's sitting in the spare tire well.

I'm running maybe 500-600 watts to it.

It KILLS the lows. I'm impressed by it.

I was thinking 4th order trunk blow-thru-- but i'd love to keep the small enclosure.

I'm Wondering if I tried a dual 2ohm 1000-1500 rms 10 inch sub in this same enclosure,

would I see gains or would a larger enclosure be needed??

It's all going to depend on the sub. The sub depicts box size needed

CAn you recommend a dual 2 ohm sub for 1 cube tuned low?

I was looking at American bass--- xfl or xr.

I think they may need larger enclosures though.

Maybe a sa-10, but it would be greatly over-powered.

Crescendo contralto can do 1.25cuft 1800wrms, but it's 400 dollars.
