What can i use to fill this gap?

I don't have the skills to do that, and i don't know anyone locally I could trust to not ruin my boat. Maybe Pro-rabbit wants to take a cruise on a boat and do it for me haha

Styrofoam doesnt mix well with any kind of chemical.
I think the cheapest way to do it is with a piece of mdf, you only need to cover the top of the gap right?
Top and the front a bit... Which is why i was thinking foam and then carpeted over. It would conform / contort to the space and also help a bit with vibration issues...

Here is a picture from the front

People do not sit in the front of your boat?

Wouldn't they have to climb over the box to get to the front?

I do not think it would be hard to cut some foam to fit the angled shape and then wrap the box with marine grade vinyl, that is what I would do.

There is a cushion missing which brings the whole front of the boat almost leveled with the box. It makes the whole nose a nice soft cushion.

That is one option, which might be considered down the road. But, since i don't own the box making tools, and i can't drive a car, it takes me weeks to finish a box. Once, again Pro-Rabbit should take a trip down to Florida haha ...

Hmm i see it better now. Very ridig foam, cut to size would be your best bet, not styrofoam or soft foam like those eggcrate looking bed things. Im trying to think of where you could purchase it because the only time i see it is when we receive something very heavy yet fragile at work. I suppose soft foam would work great too if you cant understand what in the heII im talking about lol

Are you talking about the kind you can sand / shave down to make molds out of. I think i used it to create speaker pod once, ill have to think where i found it.

I would have no clue how to fiberglass something like that. I like the idea of foam cause it cane squish and conform to the space.

yea, cracking the boat would be NOT so good haha...

I thought about the expanding foam... still not sure.
hobby lobby has memory foam blocks, rather large ones. you could get one that has the width of the large part of the gap and cut it into a wedge shape and wrap it. you could cut it a little on the large side and cram it in there or if you want to send it here with measurements, ive been fiberglassing for a couple years.
