What Caliber and Brand of Pistol do you prefer

So who like 2/1 action triggers and who likes auto-loaders?

Personally, I prefer auto-loaders. I don't like the heavy first pull of the double action (seems to mess with accuracy). I'm a huge 1911 fan.

For those of you who don't know:

double actions.....first trigger pull cocks the firearm and fires it (heavy first pull), then the rest of the rounds the trigger acts as a single action.

Auto-loaders.....You have to **** the firearm manually for the first shot, and the rest of the rounds are semi-auto with a single action trigger.

I guess it depends on my mood that day.......

where can u get pistol silencers?
any gun that is reliable and has most rounds.. shotplacement vs knockdown. any caliber to the head or heart is game over.
Silencers are illegal unless you have a special permit, which from my understanding is extremely difficult to obtain. Police do not want silenced weapons floating around, for obvious reasons. Getting caught with a silenced gun is about as bad as getting caught with a full-auto gun... prison time.

This is how I roll:

I don't have the GSR any longer though because I gave it back to my cousin. He wanted me to take care of it while he was stationed overseas.... Apparently, me putting a few thousand rounds through it wasn't what he had in mind.

Maybe its just me, but Ive always felt a .44 mag and ultralight are a contradiction. Ultralight implies concealed carry, but a .44 mag is not exactly small. To each their own, but that's how I see it. I do like my Taurus ultralight, its a quality piece, but its not a .44 magnum.

Nice 1911's gunz4me2. I like the SW. Is the other stainless one a sig?

Edit.....Didn't read the part underneath that said it was a GSR. How did the sig shoot compared to the others?

I own a Kimber 1911 .45, Glock .40, H&K .40 (work gun), and Ruger .44 mag. 40 cal is the way to go--has stopping power and not much more than 9mm for ammo. My favorite pistols on the market right now are the springfield XD's. I would take one over my Glock any day. They shoot nice and aren't very pricey. Durable as a glock too.
