If you are looking for a DD head unit, I can recommend a KENWOOD DNX-6180!!

And a weeks worth of time, 24/7 to figure out the UI.

I'm also interested in getting a new headunit to replace my stock one. Pretty much I want it to be clean and easy to read, I want the sound to be good and to be able to use my ipod and mp3 cds with it. I just bought a pioneer avh-p4300dvd and it seems to work great. Only had it a few days but I like it a lot.
