I am thinking about buying 4 or 8. Are they worth the money? I thought it might be kinda cool to run 2 in parrallel at each corner of my car and only have 120 in it.

What does ur current frontstage consist of? These aren't fullrange speakers, so you can't just run 8 of these.

I think they were $49.95/pair. 5 1/4" Vifa Midranges...similar to the yellow cones on madisound.

I guess they would work fine for what you are wanting to do. Can I ask why you are wanting to have 2 speakers in every corner of the car? I would bet if you used the money you could get a rather nice set of comps and a pair of co-axils for the back. I think you would like the sound of that more then the 8 vifa speakers.

I really just thought since they are 8ohm, in parallel they would be 4ohm and for the price, I really just didn't think I could find much better. I know these wouldn't be the only speakers in a setup, go figure, but I am planning on doing a 2-way crossover with some tweets and was wondering if having 2 5 1/4s would make any difference.

Hell, for 120 bux I could have 8 of these thing at my house. Just seems like a hella deal.
