BB King and Clapton=older blues??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI guess I've kind of deprived myself on older blues. Clapton I definately dig alot of. Haven't really listed to much B.B. King, I need to though (he comes in concert in two months).
For some reason I've never gotten into Stevie Ray Vaughn much, not sure why. Some tunes just make me tap my toe, bob my head, sing along, or just feel it. I know his music does it for others but just doesn't have that affect on me. (expecting flames but just how it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

Jazz/fusion/whatever can be another thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you got it all wrong. Jazz was a descendant of the blues. see jazz was a bourgeois version of the blues. Jazz was what the more cultured black folks listened to after the Black Exodus of the early 19th century. Delta Blues is where it started well before Jazz was even a state of mind.more of jazz, but that is where blues stemmed from...
your bringing me down with your ignorancewell, blues is for black folks and i'm not a fan of either....
