Well, we have the rock, we have the old school, figured we should have a favorite blues tunes thread. I'm always down to check out some new good blues, what do you dig?

Here are some of my favorites:

Joe Bonamassa - If heartaches were nickels, Nuthin I wouldn't do, Miss you Hate you, Sick in love

Coco Montoya - Am I losing you (one of the best live songs I've ever heard), Good Days Bad days

Ben Harper - most anything (borderline blues/folk/etc)

Alot of the music I dig is borderline blues/folk/rock so there is alot that doesn't fit strictly in the blues category. Assuming this might be a short thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

jimi hendrix did a blues album with a buncha guest artists, bb king, etc... don't know the name but a really good album, probably my favorite... i really don't know who's who in blues, but i go to a local joint here in s.f. called biscuits and blues every so often. great music and good times...

oh yeah, that jimi albums gotta song called "hear my train comin" best acoustic guitar song i have ever heard...

I guess I've kind of deprived myself on older blues. Clapton I definately dig alot of. Haven't really listed to much B.B. King, I need to though (he comes in concert in two months).

For some reason I've never gotten into Stevie Ray Vaughn much, not sure why. Some tunes just make me tap my toe, bob my head, sing along, or just feel it. I know his music does it for others but just doesn't have that affect on me. (expecting flames but just how it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

Dig Molly Hatchet as well. They play every year at Sturgis...I just refuse to stay in town late at night with all the crazies. Might have to check them out live somewhere else.
