i replaced my tank and sending unit last year in my truck plus all new fuel line.

i got lucky and only had about a 1/4 tank, but was still a bitch.

come to find, it wasnt my fuel pump. but my fuel pump relay. This generation of Expeditions werent made with a relay you can just go buy and replace. The relay is built into the circuit board and the whole thing has to be replaced. but, If you you have soldering skills, you can replace the relay itself that way. I wouldnt recommend that to someone who doesnt know what they are doing. Replacement Circuit board with relay cost ~$300. I will NEVER buy another ford.
