my ground wire on my head unit in the dash decided to burn. the system was fine pounding away then this

riding along smelled smoke shut it down and the ground has officially cooked.

im baffled i changed it and now when the subs hit it shuts the system down but it turns right back on.

changed the head units and the same thing happens

whats the deal?
