What are the Best/Brightest LEDS

I'm thinking of installing some lighting under the corvette, just for some night shows here in my area, my car is millinium yellow color, and has gx effects, for space purpose, I don't think neons will be in the subject unless I used small thin ones. But I am curious as to using leds--which are the brightest AND long lasting and which color would look good with a yellow car---this is just for a once in awhile show look.. most led's are pretty directional, so they work kinda as little spotlights. You can get wide angled led's but the output on them is decreased. Look around ebay and try to find ones with a wide viewing angle and high mcd rating.
