They're not that expensive and are very easy to install plus all of the Galaxy Series can be programmed via computer

I have the dei 871xp...Its pretty decent, ive never had any trouble with it but the range is TERRIBLE theres times im standing at the door of my truck and try to unlock the doors and it beeps that im out of range. I still havent been able to figure out what the problem is although it appears to be the somewhat cheap antenna or the solar tint across the top of the windshield.

Yes Python,Viper and Clifford are all pretty much the same..

about all the climate control controls i have with my viper 791xv is i can turn the rear defroster off. but when u install the remote start u tap into wires that run ur climate. ur not able to raise or lower the heat or air with the remote, u set ur controls to the standard mode u like to a comfy temp and when u start the car it will run that mode and temp. and get a DEI brand if ur gonna get anything, and have a shop do it kuz i take it u dont know alot about them so that is the easiest for u.
