WHat are some good 8" subs for midbass ?

Who makes good 8" subs for mid bass from 75hz-250Hz (general area).

I need something to fill in the low end. My perfects 6.1's seem to bottom out around 135hz at higher volumes.

I really like JL 8w3's, you can find them for about 100 or less on the net. They hit pretty good and will definitly fill in the missing range!!

I have a 1996 blazer 4 door. I have no room up front for them.

Would it really affect the sound image if I put them behind the rear seat facing forward?

or would I be better doing like 6W0's in Qforms?

I will be running 1 15 brahma & a 1200.1, adding another of the same setup.

I have 4 - Infinity 6.1 's and they seem to be distorting at higher volumes on the lower frequencies. I have my decks highpass filter set at 120hz

I would like to add some midbass.

I have an extra Rockford 300x.(4 channel) I would like to bridge to 2 8" subs to try and take take of this.

What about some of the Rockford 8's or Kicker Cr's or CrV's. They dont have to pound super hard ...just fill in that missing range decently

how about my 8" Punch XLC's?

They hit beautifully, and can easily be converted intoa cnice midbass, just by setting the hi/low pass filters..

tehy will do anything you want from them... you want them to punch? they will, you want them to just fill in the missing freq's, they will, and how..

Trust me, using them, at only 125 RMS each (RMS is 200) i have destroyed dual 10's...

turn down the bass on the deck, or the gain on your amp. that will stop the distorting. and it shouldn't affect your sub either, that's if you have sub pre-outs on the deck.
