what amps run well at .05ohm?

Was curious to what kind of amp runs well at a .5ohm load within the $500 range? Lookin' to get some new subs and wanted to run it at that ohm load safely.

it all depends on your electrical, you can make an amp work if you have the extra batteries/ high power alternator to give the amp what it needs

A good deal of old school US amps ran at .5 and .25 (vlx line comes to mind)

i ran two of my 2500d's @ .25 for burps, .5 for daily, bla bla bla...

.05 lol idk about that.

i've heard of some amps strapped @ .35 (.175 ea)

got a sundown saz-1500d for sale and we all know what they can do. and btw the .35 strapped amps were sundown 1500's test done by jacob (owner of sundown) its over on SSA.com

I have an 180amp alt w/ an extra battery

what wattage does the sundown put out at .5ohms?

Is this a pair of dual 2's? How about a pair of 1 ohm 1000-1500w amps?

2 AQ1200D's strapped to 2 ohms will get you ~2400 for $498.
