What Amp Would You Use?

I got a Destroyer with dual .7 ohm coils for my brother and I'm trying to decide what amp would be best for him to drive it with, money is really no object to this kid. Right now he has a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd that he used to power his T1 with, which he paid retail for a few years back when he didn't know any better.

One option is buying another T10001bd and running 2 amps. But, I am also looking at other amps for him and wanted to see what you guys though of differnt brands. First off, HIFONICS Colossus II since it's a two channel stable at 1 ohm. Also, looking at a Kicker ZX2500.1 and running it at 1.4. Also, a Incriminator 20.1 ran down low and dirty. He has a decent electrical system, but nothing totally spectacular.

Anyone got any suggestions? We will get around to topping out his electrical system soon enough, but it's not his top priority at the moment. By the way the car is a 2003 or 2005, I can't remember which, Lexus IS300.

how much power will that destroyer take?

what is he looking for? SQ? SPL only?

other nice amps would be SPL Dynamics EXT 3000 (3000++ into 1ohms at 13V), collossus XI will do the job well, the XX not. XX is digital and has no SQ and no tight bass. just muddy sounding. much power, no control over the subs. i know the Atomic AT 1500.1 will do 0.35 for burps, 0.5 for daily, but 0.35 for daily :-/ i would not try it out...

I was planning on running at 1.4 not half .35 because it's well too **** low... More for SQ but still a major amount of SL.... The Destroyer is said to be "2000" watts but it's very conservatively rated....

Well you know, I got your opinion and I'm still learning the car audio shit and sub amps is one thing I'm still a bit of a n00bx^3 on so I figured I would give the question thing a try lol..... Doesn't work worth a GOD Damn however......
