Get two of the DVC 4 ohm models so that you can wire to 1 ohm, then set the gain accordingly. This is called overhead; you won't have to turn up your amp as much, which means it is less likely to send a clipped signal to your subs and overwork the amp/subsI was looking at the DVC 2ohm subs. They would wire 2ohm PAR correct?
The BRUTUS amp puts out (it says) 1000 watts RMS @ 2ohm, so that would give each speaker 500RWM correct?
I am just wanting to have a little bump for everyday listening. I wish I could just use my current set-up and save all my money, but I have to have my backseat.
Don't get a Brutus or a HFi, those are overrated. They won't put out the power that the manufacturer claims. But the two amps that I linked will
