what amp to use for 2 12" kicker solo classics

Hey guys I have 2 2" kicker solo classics, I also have a 1000 watt RMS response mono amp, but the amp is under powering the subs, so I would like to know what amp to get that will easily run them without breaking the bank, and is it better to run one monoblock amp or 2 monoblock amp for the twin 12" kickers

Are they dual 4 ohm subwoofers?
