What amp to get for 2 12" Crystal CMP X2's

Okay so I have 2 12" Crystal CMP X2 subs that somebody wants but they don't know what amp to use to power them. They are rated for 1600 watts RMS each and I've read online about people putting at least that if not more to them daily and getting good results.

My question is, for a daily setup, what should this guy get for an amp? Should he be getting something that puts out 3000 watts or since it's for a daily setup, a little less? I'm just wondering what these subs can really handle in a daily setup. Anyone that is familiar with these subs, please chime in.

thanks. and you really think that 3000 watts would be good? it sounds like so much for some 12's. also, what should he do top upgrade his electrical to be able to get the full output of the subs and amp at 3000 watts? big three obviously but what else? how many runs of 0 gauge, how many batteries in back, alternator, etc

1-2 runs of 0 gauge wire for power and ground ,also 2 batts in the rear group 31 and a 300 amp alt .it's not to much power for the subs

one last question, is there any specific amp that you would recommend?

I've got a kicker kx2500.1 that does real close to 3k at 2ohm and 3k+ at 1ohm

With those subs I'd go with the mmats 3000.1

thanks everyone who helped. i ran one of them earlier today on a kicker zr1000 doing probably 1500 watts rms at 2 ohms and got it really moving.
