Ok...I'm too indecisive...

I need: ~4kw

Impedance: 2ohm, .5ohm, or two 1ohm amps strapped

Condition: New with warranty

I'm most concerned about reliability. I'm done with used amps, repaired amps, refurbed amp, etc, etc...

Options:

Stetsom 4k2d

Sundown 3500

RD D9

Two AQ 2200d

The cheaper the better really, $900 is my absolute max bu the closer to $800 the better.

Input?

If I had a spare $300 I'd pick one of these MB Quart DSC2000.1's and test it out! It looks strappable and the internals are looking nice in another thread.

You can't beat Jake's customer service. RD and AQ make comparable amps though. Neither of them are bad. Stetsoms put out good power but they act like time bombs and are usually expensive to repair.

That MB is just a Hifonics Brutus.

I'd say Sundown, By far.

I HATE AQ.

RD is eh.

And no experience with stetsom's but I hear they are very nice, and haven't really heard of reliability issues with them (?). But i've also heard they are very over-clocked. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

For mono block amplifiers in an impressive power range & competitive price, I have several options in stock.

Your choice of Hifonics, Rockford Fosgate, Infinity, AudioBahn, Crunch, Power Acoustik, Kenwood, Phonics Digital, American Pro, or SoundStream! All excellent units for the price (guaranteed lowest) and all have a 5 year warranty included. Call or email me and I would be more than happy to help you!

Can't decide... I wish I had more money to drop on an amp...

Just use whatever amp you have for now and save up for whatever amp you really want.

You know that you have a couple amps that you REALLY want, so its always worth it to wait until you have the extra cash and buy the amp that will make you happy.
