What amp should I buy

I have 2 15 inch Volfenhag subs. 1200 watts each. but i dont know what kind of amp i should get. I was thinking of a directed 2000 watt amp, but those get hot easy. So what is a good amp that i could use to push my subs?

you should consider 2 amps --- 1 per sub

I wouldn't give those subs anywhere close to 1200 watts.

the rms for those subs is only 600 watts so i would recommend a jbl 1200.1 or a hifonics bx1500d or even a pg tantrum 1200.1, but watch it with the gains because i heard those subs were overrated, how many ohms are they

I am thinking one BX1000D. I would, like has been said above, watch your RMS and gains with those subs.
