I'd say that's a good plan with the 1800, but if you can't find one of those....because they are of a limited availability, you may think of a jbl 1200.1

jbl 1200.1 would work nicely. i saw a couple today on ebay for $250... and u can find several around $260-70 as well. (plus shipping on both)

very true, but you would have to run a pair of them to these subs, because they dont create enough power with a single amp that can power these two subs adiquatly (i have not the slightest clue on how to spell that word)
