What amp for 15" type R dual 2's?

The 15 r will kill that type x 12 but the box will be twice as big or more. Space makes bass. the 15's have bigger coil than the tens and 12s and can take a 1500rms amp I put one in for a kid on an ap15001d and its still going a year later.
I'm sorry but I'm calling BS right there. Clean power or not, there's no way you can feed a 12" Type R 3x it's rated power and not blow it.

Ok, so no go on the 15 type R. Seems like it would be too much trouble to change things up.

So now for 12 X, how much power should I really give it to kick it? I dont think this ZX1000 is enough.

be careful, a few weeks ago people were getting all butt hurt when I said that I dont believe people send that many watts to Type R's....lol

Is the X dual 2? If thats the case, and its wired to 4ohm, I can understand wanting more power. But if the x is d4, that amp will give it close to 1200 at 2ohm, which should be plenty.

I guess Im just being greedy. It is a dual 4 ohm sub wired to 2 ohms. Maybe I just want the whole thing to be alot louder.

I had the zx750 with 1-12 type R.

then got the ZX1000, then the 1-12 type X. Now maybe Im just tired of it and need more.

thanks for all the advice.

Bit the bullet and bought a CVX15 dual 4 ohms and a 4 cube box tuned to 32 I think off a known ebay store. I was able to pick up which was nice rather than waiting. Still running off my ZX1000.1

But the CVX destroys my alpine type X 12. Im trying to break it in slowly, but sometimes I test it, and I can say that CVX and that box work extremely well together. I also feel better about my kicker amp. I was getting worried it wasn't that good. So Im happy for now.
