What Amp 4 Premier3004

im just got two pioneer premier 3004 champion series subwoofers that are rated at 1000 rms each...what amp or amps would u guys recomend to run these...i was planning to use two performance teq 3000w one for each would that be good enough each is rated at 1100 rms at 2 ohm

I have a pair of the 12" 3004SPL's and I ran each one off a "3000w" DHD mono amp and it sounded like trash. I later upgraded to a Hifonics Brutus 1606D at 1 ohm and it was like night and day compared to the other amp(s). Ditch the flea market amp and get something decent. If on a budget, go with the Hifonics or browse the classifieds for a Sundown 1500, Rockford T1500, etc etc
