you can get a sony 3001sxd for around $200. it is rated at 1000 watts at 1 ohm. since the subs are dvc, you can wire the coils on each sub in parallel and then wire the two subs together in parallel for a 1 ohm load.

First off dont listen to Kithut84, do not lower the ohms to 1 ohm to each sub, u might blow ur sub doing that. The RF power 800 is a good amp, and the RF bd1000 is good. whatever you do, do not wire everything to drop the ohms to 1 ohm.

shocker, why would that blow the subs? they are rated at 500 watts rms each (1000 total if you can add) and the amp is rated at 1000 watts at 1 one ohm. 1000 watts going to subs that can handle that power would not blow them unless you have the gain too high. dumbass

How is lowering the impedence of the subs going to blow them ? If the sub can handle the power. I don't see the problem.
