and Dang MJF, I never knew about that! What a freakin hacker! thats awesome

and I say go ahead and post up all kinds of HO alts!! and maybe some wire cut to length for the Big 3 (maybe that will make his head explode!)

and moreMe

"so by you stating that my alt has no need what so ever to anyone, and trying to sell your alts on my for sale thread is ok

i'm a little lost, i had a need for the alt i no longer have a need so maybe some one else does and you demanding that i lower my price cause of your opinion

How can you justify that. I think you have gone a little over board."

Him

"MY alts in the group buy? I wasn't aware I was selling any. I thought (I may have been mistaken) that I was using that MILD discounted group buy as a price guidline for you and our members who are watching this topic.

There's two things that really bug me.

1. People wasting money on parts that are either unnecessary or overpriced.

2. People that think bigger is always better.

I posted a price check compared to a VERY trusted and respected vendor that we have used several times with great success. This is TO YOUR BENEFIT. With your price so far out in fantasy land, you would have had NO interest in your sale. Now that you know, you can adjust your price and sell your part.

And to our member's benefit, proper CAUTIONS have been posted. There isn't a member here that I'm aware of that would even remotely need that much of an amp rating on an alternator. And I'm pretty **** familiar with the cars here, as you might imagine.

You are welcome to continue your sale, adjust your price, or whatever, but one thing you will NOT do is question the authority that keeps this Forum running smoothly on a daily basis, and saves our members COUNTLESS dollars."
hahah, not sure if anyone else caught this..but i wonder why that is this douche's second most hated thing?

little dick ftl.

took 13 post for me to get ban under the name audio_ass..lol

i helped some peeps out & told another he needed to learn more about audio & to zip it till then..

did you know 3-way comps sets just came out.. thats why we dont hear about them..

Peace hommie's

heres the last of it as of now
me

"so your saying that the vender that built this alt is new to you

well He is a very trusted vender in the world of car audio i know what the alt is worth if there happens to be some on this forum that might have a need for it great, if not then wheres the harm in me posting a for sale thread for it"

HIm

"There IS no harm in you posting it for sale.

I posted a PRICE CHECK compared to another vendor that WE use regularly. This is for the benefit of OUR MEMBERS, including you, the seller.

Our argument is over.

Address your further comments to your sale. Whether you reduce your price or not.

and here is his cuation he sent me in a PM

"You may continue your sale, but I suggest very strongly that you read my last post and follow it.

I'm the MILD Admin. The other one would have canned you for disrespect already. We're not idiots here. We have 8000 members and 5 years of life in this Forum with some pretty demanding audio systems.

If you question my authority again, you'll be gone."

My newly made post on the board:

"It seems to be a popular idea here that too large of an alternator will fry a battery. This is simply not true.

An alternator will only output the amount of current necessary to supply the demand on it. A 200amp alt, for example, when met with a 50amp current demand, will only output 50amps. Therefore, running too big of an alt will not result in damage to your battery, your wiring, your stereo or your vehicle.

If you are skeptical, consider this.... even when running a stock sized alternator, you are many times not utilizing its entire output capability (especially people not bitten with the car audio bug), and yet you do not burn up your stock battery. This is due to the voltage sensing cpability of an alternator that allows it to adjust its output to meet demands, and scale back when it should.

This is basic theory on how alternators work. A quick glance at any decent reference material on the subject will confirm what I say here is true.

Comments?"

I wonder how long it lasts.

i believe nate from ea posted something similar, and ended up being banned as well.

as far as any products being promoted that are not sold by them and the like, it seems to be a complete negative vibe and that the admin in general is made to benefit only what they sell.

to me it sounds akin to a circuit city forum, where only the things they sell get the job done, and while other options are available "they all ****".

its seemed like a terribly biased forum with their already large selection of "kickin systems" that do not meet any standards of a person who is in the spl/sq field, where people there think that 6x9s are the best choice for a 3way setup........

however i do think its rather absurd that a admin/mod, is creating all this bullshit when it does not effect him in any shape or form, UNLESS, he has something to gain from it.

By telling him that his alt is overpriced and will damage a cars battery because it will overcharge and fry it, and the forum noobs who do not know enough about the actual charge system on a car will follow him right along.

Now if you come along with an alternator that puts out less, and its JUST ENOUGH, not to damage your car, doesn't that sound better to someone who doesnt know any better?

Now if you happen to be the one selling these alts, that put out JUST ENOUGH, to not hurt your electrical system, and anyone else who makes one that puts out more will damage your car. Which one sounds more appetizing?

And of course the person to benefit from this would be the alt salesman which IMO is the stupid mod.

Wow one guy left you a nice comment.

Little kid..........I've worked on thousands of cars literally, over the many years I've been in the industry. I fix abortion jobs by people like you all the time and by other installers.
You probably have a car full of Sony so don't say a word to me.

I'm one of the best in the industry Period. My wall at work looks like a doctors office with all the diplomas and licenses.

The fact that 2 & 3 way components have just started coming out recently, not many places sell them and the rate of new products being release constantly, would explain why I haven't seen them until recently.

IMO I've heard them (3ways) and Infinity's 1 tweeter components still sound brighter than 3 ways.

Have respect for those who are older, wiser and more experienced than you.

And you owned his *** in the next one haha lol nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Did anyone read the mod's "list" of modifications to his two cars? One of them lists "7 band OEM Cd player" LMFAO.... so like, he has a valid basis of comparison to say anything about alternators...hell he barely uses his stock!
