...what a c-unit.

I wonder what would happen if they tried this in another country? I bet they would get something different than pity and sympathy.
If I'm bored later I might look up the punishment other countries like Germany or Russia have for people sneaking in and breaking laws.
Just out of curiousity, but have you ever been overseas?

I have. In Stuttgart, Germany. And it's nearly identical to here.

Most upper crust countries, like the two you mentioned, have court systems as well, that handle immigration in the same fashion that America does. Russia's a little behind on thiers, but you can find out for yourself on Google, I guess.

True.
But I was referencing her trip to his location of employment.

But true.

I find it interesting that the realtor would allow someone to sign their daughters name.
Subprime mortgage lenders were blinded by profit and allowed multi-million dollar contracts signed with little to no paper.

You could say you made a million dollars a year, but the bank would not ask for proof, as an example.

Who's fault is it he's not a citizen? Sure as hell isn't the governments..
...and who said anything about blame for the government?

I posted because I think the woman is a *****. I had no intent to drag government policies into the mix.

The fact is he was living here illegally. It's only time til he would get caught, owning a house and everything.

If it were me, I'd have put in an anonymous tip to the local authorities.

My parents bought and sold 3 houses in the last 10 years... and friends have bought houses, and I am in the market now... and never have I seen anyone buy a house with little to no paperwork.

Maybe my experience is too limited, but I can think up 6 instances of massive amounts of paperwork regarding mortgage verification paperwork in the last five years.

You also have a very limited scope of observation. I'm interning at an economics firm dealing with multiple experts in subprime litigation and that is a fact that banks were accepting mortgages with little to no paperwork to back it up. Just sign and buy.

Wiesbaden for 1 year, A long time ago though back in "82".

No, he is not any less of a criminal.

And, no, I am not saying that the guy isn't a criminal.

What I am saying, is that this should have been handled in a different way. It was going to come to a head somehow, but she didn't need to do it in such a fashion.

Lots of income/asset info was stated on apps and backup documentation was never requested. Ever hear of a "no-doc loan"?

That's pretty much it, Alot of paperwork when I bought my duplex a few years ago but you put down whatever info was needed to get the loan through such as income etc. There wasn't any checks I don't think.

0 down and poor credit ftw! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the government should look into this more, he isnt the only one doing this. this could open up many jobs for citizens which we all know are pretty hard to come by these days. also would save alot of tax money that they are stealing with claiming children they dont have. maybe just shoot them and save some more money. bet it drops the number of them doing this down dramatically.

Apparently not.

All of my paperwork has been gone over with a fine toothed comb.

And thats because the million people before you ****ed it up royally, now all is scrutinized.

My favorite was when I had my house appriased, appraiser walked in, asked what it needed to appraise at, and started writing... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You should stop typing.

Apparently, I'm dealing with several others he has visited and given a bloated idea of worth!

I offer $90/ft^2 and was countered with $135/ft^2!
