...what a c-unit.

It raises some interesting legal questions if he had been allowed to continue to buy and sell real estate illegally - what legal protections would the buyers have, would these contracts be enforceable?

I'm sure they wouldn't hold in a court of law.

I still don't think it justifies what she did, to the extent she did. She strongarmed him out of his own house of many years.

It doesn't appear like she was in much of a risk to worry about legal protections, but you never know...

meh, the law does not discriminate. Also have you seen the guys tax returns?
We have a big bust at a tax service here for thousands of illegals, after reviewing the tax returns they were claiming alot more kids than they actually had so they could get more money back in taxes than they should have.

Break the law, pay the consequences...no right to *****, I don't care if you are a "nice" lawbreaker

Based upon that, we better build quite a few more holding locations. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I'm sure the AP wouldn't post anything about his taxes prior to checking out if it's a reliable source or not. They may not have Visa's, but they do have Federal tax numbers.

Legally, it was never his //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I see where you're coming from with this, but it's a path we don't want to go down.

Always two sides to a situation, I agree.

They wouldn't. The child couldn't enter the contract. But most people here care about feelings, not about business processes.

The correct answer is to deport them and the govt seize the property. The illegally purchased the house.

He's a criminal. He got what he deserved.

The fact that he payed taxes has nothing to do with it. A lot of criminals pay taxes.

Most criminals are robbing/selling dope or what ever to better them selves as well.

I'm thinking more often then not, the ones selling dope and robbing are doing it out of greed.

Not doing it to pay the bills for the house they bought (admittedly, illegally) to put a roof over their families.

You can't begin to compare this guy to a drug dealer.

Not all drug dealers are what you think they are. Some invest time and effort into reinvigorating the community such that there are more avenues for success than dealing drugs. Does this make him less of criminal?

They are both law breakers...

Generally speaking, the means does not equate with the end.

You can't sell drugs in a community and then expect to 'reinvigorate' it, through the money from the drug traffic.

You're essentially turning the ones that you're trying to help into those that fund the projects. Keeping them in the projects.

I see where you are coming from, but give me a real life example (not a movie) of this happening, and I will reevalute my opinion on the subject.

No, he is not any less of a criminal.

And, no, I am not saying that the guy isn't a criminal.

What I am saying, is that this should have been handled in a different way. It was going to come to a head somehow, but she didn't need to do it in such a fashion.

True, Dope dealers are usually sent to state pens. This guy is doing federal crimes against the country.

Of course I would rather live next to this guy than a tweaker. And he probably is a good hard working guy. But still I just think that this country is to soft on illegal immigration. The PC crowd are even against calling them illegals because it may hurt their feelings or something.

Correct. He should not have been allowed to initially purchase the home.

two wrongs dont make a right, she is wrong and he should be deported and not allowed to return ever. is there proof that he files taxes? how do you file taxes without a ss#? she is moraly wrong and he is taking a job from an actual citizen, which i think is worse, along with fraud on probably more than one level.
