I think the crew is a bunch of inept fools, but its a cool show.

Yea, some of the stuff ive seen on that show im just like 'wtf' to...kind of funny some of it. Suprised the whalers/people theyre annoying havent taken more drastic measures against them...

there really is no "law" out there right? The whalers are calling them terrorists, but thats foriegn waters so it's pretty much at your own risk if I'm not mistaken

i believe the laws exist, it just becomes a gray area as to who's job it is to enforce them and who has jurisdiction in certain areas.

I dunno, I saw an episode where the austrailian feds wanted to talk to one of the guys on the boat about him boarding on the of the japanese ships. I forget the circumstances, but he did something wrong, the japanese complained, and he almost got in big trouble.

Im pretty sure he kept silent and they couldnt really do anything so they let him go.

that would make it a little more watch worthy. or maybe they could mount some harpoons and catch some whales? that would be interesting.

what they're doing is fine, obviously they cant go and kill anyone. its the fact that some program director thought this would be an interesting show when in fact its pretty boring.

I'd have to say I'd watch the show a lot if they installed a couple 4" deck guns on the ship...lol, that'd be sick...and a couple Phalanx too

im still watching this show and i have a huge problem with the fact that all these crew members are put in grave danger because it seems no one gets trained before they are put on this ship...... last episode while launching their speed boat 3 people almost died. this time they almost flipped again and they just admitted no one had been trained on the navigation equipment...... ive watched like 4 episodes now and the 2 chances they had to actually do something they ended up losing the ship because of their own stupidity.

whoever is funding this shit should be pissed that their money is doing absolutely nothing to save whales!

oh and another thing.... you are in waters WITH ICE. Why are you in a ship that ISNT EQUIPPED to deal with ice??????

I respect what they are doing and also think the whaling the Japanese are doing is wrong but I cant fucking stand any one of the crew. I think the captain is a cocky,fat pompous *** and that Peter brown fellow is the biggest douche bag on the planet. For one, take off that stupid *** hat. He too is a huge ********. they are recklessly putting the crew members lives in danger and couldnt care less. I hope horrible things happen to Paul watson and peter brown.
