I dont really know much about the background of the show and the effort.

But comeone, how many ****ing whales do you need to kill in the name of "research"? Its rediculous.

well hence why the sea shepards exist. they are claiming its in the name of research because thats the only loophole to the law....

ive watched 3 episodes and am yet to see them actually do anything... all they have been doing is avoiding ice and saying they have no fuel.... when do they actually do anything? the one time they tried the ship outran their little speed boat.

Hopefuly the encounters with the enemies get more aggressive.

I mean come on, throwing stink bombs and run away?

Yeah, I think Ive only seen a handful of episodes where they really did something. They aren't a group set out to kill the japs or whatever. Just to make their presence known and do what they can within the law to stop the whalers.

there really is no "law" out there right? The whalers are calling them terrorists, but thats foriegn waters so it's pretty much at your own risk if I'm not mistaken
