wet sanding

my dash or? right now its just a stop dash for a 1997 mazda mx6 LS.. im fiberglassing it this week so im checkin wat kinda customizations i can do to it

k so far ive done the resin and matt coats and sanded between each coats.. now i use bondo to fill in holes.. let it dry... sand it again.. then add primer.. wet sand.. then color and clear coat and wet sand again...correct?
Bondo is for filling and shaping when you need to add more than 1/16 inch thickness. For filling pinholes and coarse sand scratches use polyester putty like Evercoat Easy-Sand. Makes the last step lots easier.

Wetsanding clear leaves a matte finish - even if you go as fine as 2000 grit. The final step for getting the high gloss is polishing with a buffer and compound.

ok for the dash im gunna fiberglass all but the air bag.. right now im doing the center console.. ive already done about 2 layers of fiber glass and sanded between each.. so now i take bondo body filler and cover the entire peice with it? or just the parts that have some holes or what? cause its not all that bumps.. its not silky smooth and straight but its not bumpy as hell ya knw.. so...
