Doubt they where low on bibles. What is ironic is that all religion is fiction if you care to take it to that level. Having faith is a form of imaginative ideology and therefore literature that bases their topic, subject stance or views is subject to this same "humor".

So in theory, any book written is fiction. Besides if you really want to get right down to it, everything in the world is fiction to a point.....but I won't bother getting into the relativity of it.

The bible has been around long enough. It has changed over the years, but it has basically the same content.

*On another note.....why not believe in God, and have faith? If you are wrong....whoopty doo...you die, you don't care. But if you are an athiest, and there just so happens to be a God.......then you are pooched.

If you chose to 'believe' just to hedge your bets on the afterlife, Id think an all-knowing being like God would know that. IMO faith is a much deeper thing than simply doing it just in case there really is a heaven and hell.

Asking an athiest to go to church, just in case he's wrong, is the moral equivalent of asking a christian to go to Hindu, pagan or even satanic ceremonies, just in case they are wrong. Everyone just has to follow their own heart, and we all have to respect the other persons choices. Not saying anyone here is being disrespectful, just sayin...

To me believing in god is like standing in a dark room thinking someone is there with you. How you gonna believe in someone that you never seen or touched or even met. Another thing that makes me laugh is people always saying " thank you lord for this job " Or " thank you lord for this food on my table " The lord didnt get you the job, or put food on your table, you did with your effort and hard work. Makes no sense.
