they come in .357 .44 and .50

no .45 available. The .50 is cool to have but when rounds are costing $2.00+ each you will regret it. They are nice weapons but very very heavy. A ton of people underestimate the weight of a .50 DE fully loaded. I would suggest a nice 1911 instead. It is customizable, reliable, shoots a much cheaper and still heavy hitting .45 acp, also much lighter and less recoil.

A .50 de is around 1700-2k so that is the budget I'll use.

1911 Tactical Operations TB

this is a very nice 1911, with a threaded barrel that allows you to screw a can on, .45 is very loud, and is made by a good company.

that being said, I will be getting a DE .50 one of these days. I do how ever have several other handguns to use primarily though.

yeah crimson carry, the grips will be coming off and getting replaced with hand carved amboyna burl. I've got a Glock, a Beretta, and a Walther as well.edit: my ar will be getting duracoated soon as well.
Check out the G-10 grips by mil-tag there a little pricy but I couldn't get my C.T. grips off fast enough!

this is a safe queen, that's why I'm going real wood. I have my glock for a carry gun, I don't worry about that getting scratched.

Those grips are there because it's my daily they will file the plastic off my seatbelt buckle or take the paint off my door jamb and still look perfect! and as far as safe queens go I don't own a single weapon I don't carry I was going to make the 92 Inox into one but by the time I was done modding it, well it was too nice to leave locked up 21rnds and never a malfunction and you can fire +p+ without it going grenade on you!!

well, my definition of safe queen may be slightly different then most. I will still shoot the **** out of it but it will be immediately stripped and cleaned then back into a case. My carry guns will get abused and I don't think I can do that to a 1911 I'll have over 3grand into.

edit: and I was looking at an INOX today. They wanted around $750 for it though.

i really want the kimber pro covert II or the crimson pro like yours but idk if i can break down and get it but as soon as i get my cwp im getting a poly framed baby eagle .40. but until i actually take my cwp test i got me a colt 1911 to shoot.

check into your local open carry laws, here in va open carry is easier then all the laws that come with the cwp, I wish I had look into it before getting mine but I do like to open carry one and conceal the other so it's got it's place. IDK check out opencarry.org lots of real good info there!

You can only have them in the glove box or console here, i still want my cwp so i can walk in any where and buy a gun without background checks and all that shit.

It actually takes longer to run me now with my cwp then before, even with a permit here they run your info the only thing it does for a purchase here is remove the limitations on how many I can buy in a month.

Here they don't background check because you do it when u get the cwp and if you have a felony they take it away so there is no need to run it. All they do here is register it with the gun shop and your out the door.

I get a background check with my ccp. We have no limits, open carry is legal, you need the permit to have gun in any non open space.
where are you at wenn, here open carry means I can jump in my car as long as when I exit the firearm is still visible even if not visible while seated in the car, also here secured container does not mean locked it means with a lid so without a permit you can legally carry a loaded chambered weapon in a tupperware container/center console/glove box don't matter they cleared that law up last year for us!
