I bought the kids a 42" x 13' pool to play in this summer as I have no plans to have an in-ground installed at this house since I plan to buy a larger home soon.
So anyways the stock wussie pump really sucked that came with it. So me being... well me.. I went to a local pool supply house and bought a large full size 1hp pool pump setup with basket and filter unit for the cheapy pool
I came home the other day and was like WTF!!!! I had a wave pool! hahaha. It only does this if the water level is a little low, but does it every time! Takes about 20 minutes for the water to really start kicking. Is a blast to swim in haha.
When the water is a little low, the pump causes a very small wave to form that gets bigger... and bigger and bigger hahaha. Pretty soon it looks like the pool is going to explode hahaha.
I need to take a vid of it in whirlpool form when I aimed the nozzle to the left, within an hour it was spinning pretty darn fast!
Boy I let out a big Tim Allen grunt with this one!
