I gave my wife the Holiday Inn Express line last night...I don't even remember why now.....but ways, she was just like "No you didn't, and if you did what would that have to do with anything?"

God you really see right through me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
And yes Ive been there before, with the "haven't you ever seen those commercials before... the one with the guy that boxes the bear's ears"... and then the person looks at you like your head just spun 360 degrees.

The birch Ive looked at around here doesn't seem all that much lighter. Being ply, Im sure it has more sheer strength though. I considered using it, but Im not confident the stuff I can get locally is voidless.

Horns weren't in it at the time. I had the dash apart working on hanging them. Half the dash parts were sitting in my bedroom at the time of the crash.

Just heard from here insurance company. They wont say yet officially, but told me I can be 99% confident the settlement will go my way. The problem now is she apparently has a very low pay-out cap on her insurance, and its questionable if it will cover both vehicles (mine plus the other truck I was pushed into). That's when I said "oh did I mention my wrist and knee are sore too?". I now have a minor injury claim on their books, which should make up for any difference in pay-outs. That's my plan anyway. Insurance... what a racket.

Well, they owe you and the other guy before they owe her anything, so you should be OK either way. If it doesn't work out that way, I would lawyer up and sue em

The cap doesn't include her car, I was only referring to it covering the cost of my truck and the other victim's truck. The other truck was an early 90's for f-150 tho, shouldn't be worth alot. I hope not anyway. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
I dont know if she will get money to repair her car or not. It probably doesn't factor into the money cap for other vehicles, its a seperate thing and even if I dont get my full compensation, Im confident she will. Like I said, insurance is a racket.

Don't forget that she is still liable for the damages she caused even if her insurance company doesn't cover it all (which sounds absurd). It's in her interest to pressure them to take care of you so that it doesn't come out of her pocket.

I would start talking to a lawyer now. You don't have to GET a lawyer, but it never hurts to talk to one, especially if it sounds like the insurance is going to screw you.
