i got 600 wrms on an rl-p an its plenty loud, 1200 on an xxx must be nice-anything over has gotta start damageing hearing if used to its potential often or for long, is1 you have asked some dumbass questions over and over again- and its gonna be a long time before you get ANY respect round here-but your doing the right thing- asking questions (try and hear the answers tho) and you took your hu out and looked at the back and found a problem-well done, there are assholes all over the place that have to put people down so they can feel better about themselves-i respect the way people have 'dissed' you repeatedly and you keep gettin up, takes a big man to get back up- enjoy your sounds

Using an Eclipse 5444 right now, was using an Eclipse 7893. The Eclipse absolutley murders the Alpine in every way, it sounded like i had completely different speakers. The Alpine had harsh highs and horrible midbass, and the eclipse has good midbass and very tolerable highs. The only complaint i have about teh Eclipse is its a pain to get out of the dash, you have to use a flathead screwdriver to pry it out, with the Alpine you just flipped the two pins.

When i went from the alpine HU to the Eclipse, i noticed it didn't hit nearly as hard as it used to, so i just dealt with it for 3 weeks. Then today i pulled the HU out and noticed that only one of the RCA's for the sub was plugged in.
