Im building a website for a local business here. Actually not even a business, a lady that does photography. I was wondering what a estimate would be that you would find appropriate for it. No flash, no fancy stuff, just a nice clean website, simple but with alot of content. Any ideas? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

How much is your time worth to you? In effect, your selling your time and skill. Since you're pretty young, I doubt you have amazing design skills. If it were me, I'd probably do $15/hr.

Yeah, I am decent, not outstanding. I was thinking probably $50. What do you think I should charge as far as updates go? Mainly this would be new photographs.

I dont even look at a website for less than $500. Add $300 if you want flash. but I also include a year of hosting in the price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I did a little design work for free for some friends... I'm actually pretty good and at an honest price of what it's worth, I'd say minimum wage.... but obviously people pay at or above at $20/hour range and you should honestly think of that for the initial design of the page.... after that, it all depends on what size of updates you will be doing...
