Yup, sure did. I mean, it's like simple credit card debt...if you pay the minimum (we aren't even paying that)...it won't even pay for the interest. At least Clinton had budget surpluses while in office...he made an effort to buy back some of the debt...but like i sed, it totaled less than $100 million IIRC when i was researching. This didn't decrease the TOTAL debt...but it increased less that year! Current figures are every man, woman, child in the ENTIRE U.S. owes about $25k each!!!Interesting you say that. According to the Bureau of Public Debt the national debt level rose every year Clinton was in office. Not only that, debt has risen every single year since 1961.
oh yeah...Yup, that's the national debt all right!
and Bush continues to deficit spend EVERY YEAR in office...

Too bad that could've never happened...b/c of bush...and HIS war...
From 9.30.92 from 9.30.00 despite efforts to decrease the TOTAL national debt... it increased EXACTLY $1,609,557,554,365.20 according to http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov
During these years payment was made toward decreasing the national debt, however totaling less than $100billion it did not greatly help decrease the overall debt, tho it was a good try...lol.
From 9.30.00 to 9.30.04 the national debt increased EXACTLY $1,704,874,486,443.46 again according to http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov This is MORE in 4 years than the 8 years previously stated. Bush is a HORROR of a mathmatician, he is given a $2.4 trillion dollar budget for the next year, and spends $521 billion more than allotted. This will increase the debt EVEN more, which is already at an alarming rate!
The current EXACT national debt as of 11:30:00 a.m. EST is $7,455,079,525,624.46 which puts Bush's total contribution toward our ever growing debt as $1,780,901,315,737.60 AND don't forget this is increasing every second b/c of just the interest...and this RECORD $521 billion deficit won't necessarily help!
Ok, my laziness stepped away for a few...i had some time on my hands. So, there's the FACTS...check 'em out. peace

I'm still waiting for you to show that you actually understand what this represents.Yup, sure did. We criticize politicians for raising taxes...when it's a fact of life. Taxes shouldn't be decreased...Bush cut taxes, increased spending! HELL, kerry even PROPOSED tax cuts...who knows if it would have happened. Fact of the matter is...each year Bush has been in office...e's set a new record for the deficit in the year's budget. $521 billion deficit is NOT the way to do it! CUT spending, and DO NOT get rid of needed taxation. peace

Not quite sure what you're trying to get at here....seems very meandering.Yup, sure did. Yes, since day one I have agreed with you that a large portion of the tax cuts are unnecessary. Unfortunately, the solution is not nearly as simple as just cutting government spending. We criticize politicians for raising taxes...when it's a fact of life. Taxes shouldn't be decreased...Bush cut taxes, increased spending! HELL, kerry even PROPOSED tax cuts...who knows if it would have happened. You do realize that we funded Bin Laden, through the ISI and CIA, and we have also given the Taliban LARGE contributions?http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1097521/posts
That names quite a few of the groups that Saddam supported.
It also says that Saddam helped to fund the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Centers. I believe that would appear to be a threat directly to america.
Yes. I do know about that. That was not the intent though. That was a faulty attempt to help stabalize the middle east. needless to say, It backfired. You do realize that we funded Bin Laden, through the ISI and CIA, and we have also given the Taliban LARGE contributions?
Public, other countries, companies, banks...etc!!! Need more?!?!?!?!?! WTF...so i'm just gonna go get 10 credit cards, take out some loans, and NEVER PAY THEM BACK. I'll buy whatever i want, never pay anything back...you only have one life right??!?! Might as well get in debt AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!!!I'm still waiting for you to show that you actually understand what this represents.
What does it hurt having a national debt? Who do we owe?
Lemme know when you find out.
You sir, are retarded. Do you realize or understand what you are saying. It determines the value of our dollar, it determines a lot more economically than you think. My generation (18-24) and our kids will be paying for it...i gaurantee it. If we keep spending like this, our economic stability will be out the window...the value of our dollar will be shit. The debt is to the American public. It is a pointless measurment.
If we made no payments whatsoever towards the debt, no one would know the difference. All the debt is, is a ploy for politics. It doesn't even matter.

your little chart tells me nothing. All it does is show percentages.hahahahahahaha
