We are F*UCKED!!!!!!!

Yup, that's the national debt all right!
and Bush continues to deficit spend EVERY YEAR in office...

Also...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/the_economy/411973.stm

Too bad that could've never happened...b/c of bush...and HIS war...

From 9.30.92 from 9.30.00 despite efforts to decrease the TOTAL national debt... it increased EXACTLY $1,609,557,554,365.20 according to http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov

During these years payment was made toward decreasing the national debt, however totaling less than $100billion it did not greatly help decrease the overall debt, tho it was a good try...lol.

From 9.30.00 to 9.30.04 the national debt increased EXACTLY $1,704,874,486,443.46 again according to http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov This is MORE in 4 years than the 8 years previously stated. Bush is a HORROR of a mathmatician, he is given a $2.4 trillion dollar budget for the next year, and spends $521 billion more than allotted. This will increase the debt EVEN more, which is already at an alarming rate!

The current EXACT national debt as of 11:30:00 a.m. EST is $7,455,079,525,624.46 which puts Bush's total contribution toward our ever growing debt as $1,780,901,315,737.60 AND don't forget this is increasing every second b/c of just the interest...and this RECORD $521 billion deficit won't necessarily help!

Ok, my laziness stepped away for a few...i had some time on my hands. So, there's the FACTS...check 'em out. peace

AHEM!!!

BTW, current debt is...

$7,455,332,915,812.40

as of 3:08:23 EST

If thats the way you want to look at it. Maybe you should take a look in the mirror because I havent seen one post of yours that has any sort of substance. Your contribution to this thread is quoting the most irrelevant sentence in my whole post?...now theres some inteligence! Your political views are based on slander of others, as opposed to your own interpretation of actual facts. Just because I see things differently doenst make me an idiot. At least I think for myself.

Dude it was a joke. Whats wrong with you man. Lighten up. Sheesh.

well with clinton, it was beginning to disappear, by way of a surplus. but bush fixed that, by increasing miltary spending and cutting taxes. go bush!
I'm selfish and don't plan on having children so screw the debt.......JK

Lets have less government and less spending.

So if everyone in Iraq is praising us for our job over there, why are we still fighting a war against them? Their way of life is different than ours, from a religious aspect, but I think one thing you dont realize is that Iraq is one of the most progressive countries in the middle east, not in terms of government, but in terms of the way of the general population. They dont wear the same attire as they would in Iran, generally speaking, they dress the same way as we do. As far as freedom of worship, its a muslim country, go figure. Sure Saddam killed a bunch of Kurds and imprisioned people for nothing, but I cant remember a time when he posed a threat to the United States.
I thought we went to Iraq to break up their supply of WMD and to fight all the terrorists that they didnt have residing there. Since when did this mission become such a humanitarian effort? I think you people just keep making up new reasons to be in Iraq so you dont have to accept the fact that we have no business there...

Its much easier to take over a country that is already open to your way of life. And thats what were trying to to. Start in Iraq, move on from there. Mark my words.

I didn't say all of them were. The rebels are who we are fighting. you need to stop relying on everything you hear from the news channels. Do some real research.

Saddam posed a threat to the us when he continually broke the rules set by the UN. and sponsored terrorist organizations, and let them live and train in his country.

I won't go on any more about how saddam treated the people that lived there. It obviously isn't sinking in to you. Get a brain. Use it. It helps.

Is it not possible to discuss politics without personal stabs?

Just a note, I havent turned on the TV in about 6 months, honestly...well maybe to watch HBO, but other than that I dont watch TV...so my reliance on news channels is completely ficticious. I do do real research, I just happen to interpret the information differently than you I guess.

I agree Saddam broke UN regulations, but that doesnt mean that he posed a direct threat to the United States. If were going to invade every country that posesses nuclear/biological weapons, why did we only invade iraq? What about the many former Soviet provinces that are now sovereign nations that have whats left of the USSR's nuclear arsenal? What about N.Korea? What about Pakistan, Iran, China, etc...? Are they next?

Also, you say that Iraq was supporting terrorist groups...can you name any? Can you produce any proof that there were training camps funded by Saddam and his Bath party? Can you even name anyone who participated in 9/11 that had any relation to Iraq? Hell, al-Qaida is rejoicing that we toppled Saddam's empire because we opened up his borders to everyone. Their recruitment is up because of us, not because of Saddam!

Your last paragraph proves my point. Saddam was a horrible dictator. He did brutally rule his country, but like I said...posed no threat to the outside world.

I do have a brain, and I do use it.

Dont follow blindly.

If your are judging someones inteligence by their public speaking skills, you are ignorant. Bush is a very smart man, he just doesn't show it when he's put on the spot. If he was an idiot, he wouldn't have gotten elected. TWICE!
Yes, speaking skills and a reasonable grasp of your native language should be a prerequisite for becoming president. Great, so Bush is a smart man when he's not put on the spot. So hopefully if there is a situation of a national or international crisis no one will put Bush on the spot. Maybe they can give him time in a relaxed environment to decide the fate of millions of people. My point was that when asked a question, Bush can't answer it. Just looking at him you get the impression that he can't even fathom the question much less give an intelligent, insightful answer. Maybe he is smart in that he surrounds himself with people they can answer the questions for him. Not that this is all bad, I guess. Better several people making the important decisions than one.

I think it has been proven time and time again that if there is enough money nearly anything is possible. As far as Bush being elected twice: I think this has less to do with him personally than it has to do with his campaign advisors and the ability to put enough fear out into the general voting public so that they would not elect John Kerry.

"The PFLP, whose history of terrorism dates back to the "black September" hijackings of 1970, was personally vetted by Saddam to receive oil vouchers worth £40 million."

direct quote from "The Scotsman" newspaper.

Goes to proove that it has been a long term thing, and he showed no plans of changing.

"Key points

• Documents show Saddam funded Palestinian terrorist group

• 1991 tape reveals Saddam wanted to use biological weapons against Israel"

another quote from the same source. "The Scotsman"
