Maybe in his own country, but I haven't seen any evidence that tied Saddam to terrorist attacks against the US ... And he wasn't even really a terrorist, just a murderous dictator in his own country ... So we should go after every murderous dictator in the world ?

i saw when bush said he didn't care about bin laden. i believe it was in march. he even went and joked about not finding any weapons, and while he has a nice little smile soldiers are dying. didn't bush stand at ground zero and say we will find the terroist who done this and capture them dead or alive? well 3 years later osama is still free and bush is spending billions of are tax money in this war that has produced nothing except more hatred towards americans. wasn't it the reagan/bush administration that appointed saddamm to power in the 80's? pappa bush didn't take care of sadamm in 91 so when junior gets in office he immediately goes after sadamm. how come bush has never traveled overseas to try to make peace like clinton did? instead he sends troops over there to attack. i just remembered according to the people on this forum bush is not responsible for anything that has happened in this country, or the recession that started as soon as he took office and has never ended since.
