Ways to improve my rig?

Best Buy, dude. I guess the deal was, even though I am a paying customer as well, the installers were obviously too busy to take a GOOD look at the stuff I was ordering. I always caught them in between appointments. So yeah, I am kind of pissed about that. I got the IX1000.1 because I thought it was the best you could get. They said that since my Type R's are both 600watts, it would be a good fit.

Take them back and get dual 2 type rs, that would be easier.

Ahhh, Best Buy. First mistake. 2nd, listening to them. Only thing they care about is the total on the reciept. Too late to return it? What kind of box? They build it? Or is it a pre-fab?

I chose Besy Buy because I work there and get everything half off. I boguht the box at a car detailing/modding place called Tint Plus. I can upload a pick later on tonight. I could technically return them (i have 30 days) but we dont have 2ohm type Rs in store so I wouldnt get my discount. I paid around $90 for each sub.

sometimes you have to pay to play. im still betting the lack of tight response is from lacking midbass rather than a lack in the sub stage.
