other than usin fans, wonderin how to keep amps cool and ventilated on an amp rack. The amps im buildin the rack for are goin to be top mounted, not flush. I was thinking cutting like a giant square/rectangular hole in the mdf underneathe the amps. Will that be okay?

I would drill a sh*tload of little holes under it and dont forget to leave some airspace so it will travel thru but overall the fan would be the best solution and by far the most reliable source becase in some cases a few vents just dont cut it. the last thing you want to do is to fry you amp.

i was thinking about either doing a bunch of slits, or one square hole. I dont think ill have a problem with over heating, im not running the amp at full power.
