wave runner sealed agm batterys

has anyone ever thought about using a wave runner type battery in place of a large second battery in the trunk. The reason I ask is I was looking and a 18ah deep cycle agm sealed battery for a jet ski is only about 60.00 , I wonder if this would work

I figured it was a low value but if you compare it to a large cap or nothing but a straight run of wire, I would think it would provide a little dampening affect at the amp to help on a 1000w system w/stock alt not nothing massive though.
