Wattage ratings?

odd numbers ?

if you mean the 4 ohm power numbers **** and the lower ohm power number seem incredible, it's a marketing thing, they are designed that way. Some competition orgs put you in a class based on the total 4 ohm power ratings of your amps. Nothing new, they were doing that back in the 80's.

That's what I thought at first. But, It's all over the place. Even in the manual for the Z1000 I just bought. I noticed an asterisk by one of the other amps(Z7000) that said that the 4 ohm rating was 50watts but the USAC rating was 300. It makes sense when i think about it. Call it 50 watts, end up in a lower class with a big advantage.
